What happens when I sign up for the free guide?
The signup form collects your email address and the page you signed up from, so we know which pages readers find useful. It also records which free guide you asked for. You agree to receive our emails by ticking the box on the form. The form is run by MailerLite, which stores your address and sends our emails. MailerLite's ownprivacy policy explains how it handles data.
We send the free guide and occasional updates about God Theories. We don't send anything else, and we don't share your address with anyone except MailerLite.
How do I unsubscribe or have my data deleted?
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. To have your address and signup details deleted entirely, email bk@godtheories.com, and we will delete them and confirm.
What is the reCAPTCHA on the form?
The signup form uses Google reCAPTCHA, a Google service, to keep out spam signups. It loads only when you scroll near the form. Google's Privacy Policy applies to it.
Does the site use cookies or tracking?
The site's own pages set no cookies. The signup form's MailerLite and Google reCAPTCHA scripts, which load only when you scroll near the form, may set their own cookies under their own policies, linked above. When those scripts load, MailerLite also records that the form was shown. To count visits, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, whichCloudflare says uses no cookies or other client-side storage. It tells us how many times each page is viewed, not who viewed it. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes information about traffic to the site, such as IP addresses, when people visit it. Itsprivacy policy applies.
Does the site show ads or sell data?
No. The site shows no advertising, and we never sell, rent, or trade your data.
Will this policy change?
If it changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new review date at the top. For any question about your data, email bk@godtheories.com.
