About the book
Did the church Jesus founded endure, or need restoring?
Nicene Christians and Latter-day Saints both confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and both read the Bible. They are close kin, and on who God is and where his church is found, the road divides.
Each faith makes its case at full strength, with no thumb on the scale. Nicene Christianity holds that the church Jesus founded endured, kept in Scripture, creed, and sacrament. The Latter-day Saint faith holds that it fell away and was restored through Joseph Smith, with new scripture and living prophets. Then each turns and puts its sharpest questions to the other.
The author keeps to one task: referee, never judge. The weighing is left where it belongs.
The verdict is yours.
